Arcadia’s birthday bash Saturday 18th February was a brilliant success with over 1,100 people attending the library and leisure centre.
The celebrations included a birthday cake, balloons, children and family activities like Bhangra Fit , tours of the centre and the digital green screen where you could have your photograph taken with a sporting hero.
The Library and Leisure centre was attended by Cllr Luthfur Rahman, Executive Member (Culture and Leisure), Levenshulme and Gorton South councillors. All the staff and volunteers demonstrated the strong partnership with GLL ( Greenwich Leisure Ltd) and showcased the successful joint centre.
