November alone sees over 50 events, workshops and courses across Manchester and beyond, provided by the Business and Intellectual Property Centre (BIPC) based at Manchester Central Library.

The BIPC hosts regular sessions from the Princes Trust Exploring Enterprise scheme for young entrepreneurs to one to one advice for start ups or creatives wanting to protect their ideas. More information on regular sessions can be found on the Council website.

BIG Ideas Generators are attracting people across all ten Greater Manchester authorities with information surgeries, online marketing, free online tools, 3D printing, social media and crowdfunding sessions. There’s even an introduction to the Internet of Things!

Workshops are running in various Manchester Libraries on ‘Selling Online for Beginners’ and ‘Social Media for Business’, as well as big events this month on ‘Made in Manchester: The Ups and Downs of Freelancing’ and a live screening from the British Library: Question time for Entreprenuers
