The day of the supersize bee trail is here with 101 supersize bees forming the biggest public art trail in Manchester. Have a look at the swarm in this fantastic feature in the Manchester Evening News today.
Manchester Libraries and Read Manchester are of course involved. Here’s how:
You’ll find Little Bee Hives at five Manchester Libraries – Didsbury, Longsight, Forum and North City Library. Plus if you visit Central Library you’ll be greeted by fourteen Little Bees and one supersize Bee – the Original Worker Bee, sponsored by Manchester City Council.
There are also two trail maps for you to download – one for the Little Bees and one for the larger bees – get them both from the Manchester Evening News. You can also pick up paper copies from the five libraries above and Central Library.
