Books to Go is a free home delivery service provided by Manchester Library service for Manchester residents who have difficulty leaving their home and accessing their local library. If you are a library lover and caring for someone you can also benefit from the service.
Many of our residents say their days will be long and lonely without the access to books, DVD’s, talking books and music CD’s which we deliver. The service is free of charge and our team of friendly staff change over the items every 4 weeks.
Joining us is easy, we will ask you a few details and have a chat about the type of books you enjoy. Your library items will then be carefully chosen and put together by our team.
We can also help you get online to reserve your own library items which we will deliver to your door. We can offer help and even loan you a tablet to discover our digital world of audio books digital books, newspapers and magazines.
