We want to know what Manchester’s favourite books are and celebrate the joy of reading for pleasure!
As part of our World Book Night celebrations on Thursday 23rd April we are asking you to let us know the eight books you just couldn’t do without.
Join us on twitter all day this Thursday to share your eight favourite books with us @manclibraries. If you could add the hashtags #desertislandbooks and #worldbooknight as well that would be excellent!
The books can be your favourite book as a child, a travel guide to your favourite holiday destination or the latest page turner by your favourite author. Whatever they are we want to hear about them.
We’ll then announce the Top 40 books that our fantastic Manchester Libraries customers have recommended and we’ll be planning some celebrations with those books for when we get to meet you all again!
