The Skills for Life team have produced a great workbook to help parents work through some everyday skills with young people who have special educational needs.  These are perfect for helping young people to process and plan their daily activities and identify where they need more help and support.  Planning skills will give a young person more structure to their day in the current situation, and help them in their future too.

For younger children, we’re filming a sensory storytime every month from May onwards with our fantastic Central Library staff, Tracy and Carole.  These storytimes will include songs, rhymes and actions and a storyboard. Visit Manchester Libraries’ very own YouTube channel to view them and our other great storytimes.
