There’s been a brilliant article in the Manchester Evening News about our Books to Go Housebound Service, describing it as ‘a lifeline’ for many Manchester residents.
One user of the service, who lives alone, said she started to use Books To Go during the pandemic as she found that watching TV was becoming too depressing for her. The books the library delivered to her helped her ‘escape to a happier place’.
