If you are looking to do something a little different this Christmas period we have put together a few suggestions for you.

Lightopia has returned to Heaton Park and is open until 10 January! Enjoy the award-winning and visually spectacular lantern and light festival. Explore interactive exhibits, immersive light installations, and the magical illuminated trail.  

The Hallé has a specially recorded Christmas Concert which is free for everyone to enjoy on YouTube until 19 January. Contains a host of Christmas favourites, including Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithfull, a Nutcracker Suite, Jingle Bells and Sleigh Ride.

During December Manchester Art Gallery livestreamed a Curator tour of the up coming Grayson’s Art Club exhibition which is available to watch online now.

A wonderful way to keep busy and healthy is to get out and enjoy your surroundings. In the Manchester area, we have many wonderful parks and spaces that you can take advantage of, here are a few suggestions.

At Dunham Massey until 10 January it’s definitely the most wonderful time of the year when the after-dark, illuminated trail lights up the gardens and deer park.
