International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. Join us Monday 8th March for a selection of talks with our inspiring speakers. Amina Waldron will be hosting our three-part International Women’s Day, this year’s theme is Choose to Challenge.

Choose to Challenge – 10:45 to 11:45am 

It is so important and key for all women to have a voice and be heard. We have the choice to call things out as they are may it be inequality, gender bias, sexism, gender stereotypes, assumptions and pay gap, to name a few. Join our discussions about challenges many people have faced growing up as well as the term confidence, why choosing to challenge is key and influential. Claiming Your Space and Owning it – 1:45 to 2:45pm

Our panel will discuss their experience in ownership, claiming who they are and challenge others positively and safely. A Safe Space for You – 5:45 to 6:45pm

This is a wonderful opportunity to share your thoughts, questions, and queries with our panel of women in leadership positions. Join us for a safe space for women to network, access guidance and support in all areas. Feel free to come along just for a chat you may have something you want to share. Amina Waldron is the founder of Youth Elements, an organisation working to create positive change for vulnerable and marginalised young people. She is an advocate championing engagement, empowerment and enjoyment, for all. Amina’s message throughout her workshops and training is “Regardless of our age, gender, race or background we have the power to empower, motivate and inspire others, let nothing hold you back”.
