Northenden Community Library re-opens on Monday 19 July, after sixteen months closed. The library was closed along with all of the other Manchester Libraries due to the Covid pandemic in March 2020. We’re excited that it is now reopening, meaning that all 22 of Manchester’s Libraries are now reopened, with hours very similar to their pre-pandemic levels.
Opening hours will be Monday to Thursday from 2pm-5pm and Fridays from 10am-1pm. You can use the library to borrow books, use the Internet and Wi-Fi for free and studying. Ann-Marie Smith is the library manager, who will be working with the volunteers to offer the usual excellent Manchester Libraries service.
We’d like to thank Wythenshawe Community Housing Group for enabling us to open, and with a larger library than before March 2020
