Fi Smith, Drawing with Scissors

The second in our “At Home with Our Artists” sessions, in which Manchester Libraries commissioned Manchester-based freelance artists to record themselves delivering a simple craft activity from home. This one comes from community artist Fiona Smith and is inspired by the late work of Henri Matisse. Fiona shows you how to draw with scissors to make a beautiful wall hanging collage. This session is suitable for all age groups, except for smaller children as it involves the use of scissors throughout.
