Can you dig it? Dino activities with Britannica Education

Do you know which plant-eating dinosaur is believed to have been as long as 43 metres (140 feet) from head to tail? Can you name a bipedal dinosaur?
Answers to these questions and so much more can be found on the Britannica Library online site. You can access Britannica Library content for free in our branches and at home – you just need your Manchester Library card number and PIN.

This summer the team from Britannica visited Manchester City Library to showcase the platform with families. As well as exploring the web resources, we had a range of dinosaur themed activities to complete.



* One of the largest dinosaurs was the Seismosaurus, believed to measure up to 43 metres (140 feet). The Velociraptor is an example of a bipedal dinosaur, meaning that it stood upright and walked or ran on its two hind limbs.
