‘Full Volume: The Manchester Libraries Podcast’ takes listeners behind the shelves of our city’s much-loved libraries. Presented by the Central Library’s own Alan Lynch, every month the podcast lifts the lid on a treasure trove of insider tips, exclusive interviews, book reviews, and much more.
The follow-up to last month’s inaugural podcast finds its host chatting to celebrated Manchester City Council photographer Barrie Leach about ‘Our Town Hall: Portraits of a Workforce’, a brand new exhibition currently taking place at the Manchester Central Library.
Heading out of the city centre and into our district libraries, February’s ‘Branch Out’ feature goes behind the scenes at the Wythenshawe Forum. Packed with fascinating interviews, the segment finds Alan learning more about the portfolio of creative projects and sensational services being provided at the library, including “Livenshawe”, “Block Cinema”, “Safe Spots” and more.
