FESTIVAL OF LIBRARIES LOOK FOR A BOOK, 27-30 May

Manchester Libraries and Read Manchester are thrilled to be part of the Festival of Libraries Look for A Book activity again this year! Five hundred copies of Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock’s Am I Made Of Stardust will be hidden across Greater Manchester Libraries this May half-term as a trail-blazer family-fun activity before the Festival launches on 2 June.
Dame Maggie Aderin-Pocock PhD is a space scientist whose passion is presenting science to an audience and demonstrating that you ‘don’t need a brain the size of a small planet’ to understand, participate in and enjoy science.
Read Manchester Literacy champions will be supporting library staff to hide 50 copies of the book in libraries and green spaces during four days, 27-30 May. Follow Read Manchester’s Facebook page from 27 May for clues of where the books will be hidden in the city.
Once you’ve found a pack, there will be your very own copy of Am I Made of Stardust? to enjoy, plus instructions on how to claim your golden ticket, to be in with a chance to meet Maggie at an event during the Festival of Libraries itself in Manchester! Good luck treasure hunters.
