To celebrate Get the Nation Learning Week 2025, Manchester City Council is organising The Festival of Lifelong Learning! As part of this, we are bringing fun activities to libraries near you from Monday 3 to Friday 7 November. They are free, and anyone can attend, so join us and enjoy the fun!

Step Up MCR: Ideas into Action & Volunteering Connections: Develop community project ideas and discover

Wythenshawe Forum Library, Wednesday 5 November, 10am to 2pm
Creative Tasters: Art & Flower Arranging with Trafford & Stockport College: Try mini art and flower Workshops and explore local learning opportunities
Manchester Museum, Wednesday 5 November, 10am to 2pm
Discover, Create, Relax: Lifelong Learning at Manchester Museum: Explore museum collections through talks, object handling, and wellbeing workshops.
Gorton Library, Thursday 6 November, 11:30am to 3:30pm
Spin & Learn: DJ Workshop with Reform Radio: Try your hand at DJing and learn about creative training opportunities.
Newton Heath Library, Friday 7 November, 10am to 12pm
Jam & Learn: Music Workshop with Music Evermore CIC: Join a full-band music session and learn a song in just two hours
