It’s that time of year again… fun, fun, Fun Palaces!!

North City Library

Saturday 3 October, 11am-1pm

We’ve all sorts happening at North City Library to keep you entertained from squishy circuits and butter slime with Love Science to getting your groove on at our silent disco.

Alongside that are a variety of crafts including hedgehog clay art and Hama bead designs.

There’s plenty to choose from so come along and join in!

Free to attend and suitable for families. Under 8’s must be accompanied by a an adult.

Forum Library Creative Space

Saturday 3 October, 12-3pm

Calling all young musicians aged 8 to 16!

Join Music Evermore for an inspiring and interactive music-making experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore a variety of musical instruments, develop new skills, and collaborate with others in a fun, supportive environment.

Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or already have musical experience, this hands-on session offers the chance to build confidence, express creativity, and perform as part of a band.

Free to attend and open to all abilities. Come along, make new friends, and discover the joy of making music together.

Longsight Library

Saturday 3 October, 1:30-3:30pm

We’ll have lots of interesting and fun things to have a go at! Activities with Longsight Community Art Space, Afrocats and more!

Don’t miss… Olympias Music Foundation who will be doing a couple of musical story sessions with an accompanied activity from Manchester Museum.

Feeling out of sorts and confused… then pop over to see our Book Drs who will prescribe just the right kind of read for you!

We’ve got lots of our lovely friends and neighbours bringing activities to share with you and your family!

We will also have a SEN space with Dare to be Different.

Manchester Central Library, Performance Space (Ground Floor) 

Saturday 3 October, 2-4pm

Celebrate at Central Library with a whole afternoon dedicated to the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most important festivals in the Chinese calendar! Join us for an afternoon of traditional Chinese music, interactive workshops and lantern-making with Manchester Confucius Institute and Chinese Music Classroom at Chetham’s School of Music.

So take your pick and get ready for some fun!!
