Fun Palaces at the Forum 

We are excited to be hosting a Fun Palaces event on Saturday 5 October, 2-4 at the Forum Library!

This year it is even more special as it is going to be held in the New Creative Space on the first Floor of Forum Library. Fun Palaces is an ongoing campaign for culture at the heart of community and culture, with an annual weekend of celebration every October. Fun Palaces are about active and hands-on participation for all ages and all levels of experience and involvement.  

Our Forum Fun Palace event will consist of an afternoon of fun, creativity and trying out new things! There will be many highlights including:

A listening workshop with ‘SoundHoppers’
Afro-Tots will be making beautiful patterned fans
Art sessions with Mandy from ‘Curious Crafty’
Hand massage and Face painting with ‘Fresh,Start,Smart’
Lego Walk with ‘Mind Over Matter’
Craft activities with library staff
Recycling fun with Lorna from the Climate change team

Fun Palaces are free, and you are all invited, so come and join us, learn a new skill, try something different and lose yourself in our relaxed creative space!
