We are excited to announce the opening of the brand-new Abraham Moss Library and Leisure Centre on 12 August 2023.
The stunning new library will offer a welcoming cultural and creative space for the whole community, with great books and free high-quality access to Wi-Fi and the Internet. There will also be an exciting and diverse events programme for all ages plus speedy self-issue and return technology – all in a bright, modern space open seven days a week.
And that’s not to mention everything you can do at the new leisure facility including: a six-lane swimming pool, learner pool, steam room and sauna, two squash courts, health and fitness suits, (including gyms and studios), sports hall, changing facilities, along with the first Indoor Urban Cricket Centre in City.

Opening hours
The new library and Leisure Centre will be open as follows
- Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 August from 9am to 5pm
- Monday 14 to Friday 20 August from 10am to 5pm
- Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 August from 9am to 5pm
From Monday 22 August the library will have the following opening hours:
