‘Phoenix Rising’ – celebrating the launch of a new book from the Phoenix Support Group

Manchester Libraries are supporting Phoenix Support Group in their launch of their book ‘Phoenix Rising’. The book provides stories and reflections from women who have experienced sexual abuse.
Phoenix is a peer support group based in Greater Manchester for women survivors of sexual violence. It was created in 2020 by survivors, for survivors. The group aims to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space for exploring difficult issues, sharing coping strategies and to help with feeling safer, develop self-acceptance and move forward in life.

We have copies available in all our branches and an ebook copy is on Borrowbox.
