Stephen Lawrence Day at Longsight Library
Stephen Lawrence will be remembered and his memory celebrated at Longsight Library.
We’re very excited to invite you along to create inspirational poetry with Manchester Poetry Library at Manchester Metropolitan University
poet Ruth Awolola and create a beautiful Stephen Lawrence inspired artwork with Tina Ramos Ekongo.
There will be a special story time with two of our favourite library staff, Ruth & Hema reading books from the “See Myself In Books” collection. We’ll also be making badges that express our future best lives.
Everyone is welcome to join us in living our best lives.
