Ever wondered what’s on that floor of Central Library that you’ve never visited before? Curious about what the new Gorton Hub and Abraham Moss Library’s are like inside? Down in Wythenshawe or over in Beswick next week and fancy checking out the libraries first?
You can now take 3D walkthrough virtual tours of all 22 Manchester Libraries, enabling you to explore our fabulous venues, discover the nuances and architecture, and find out much more about them before you physically visit, all from the comfort of your screen.
Take the virtual tour of Central Library…
Thanks to a recent £20,250 grant from the Arts Council England funded LibraryOn programme, the project will enhance online discoverability by making it easier for existing and new customers to find, access, and engage with libraries.
Have a look around the new Gorton Hub Library…
As well as increasing the number of online and physical visits to Manchester Libraries, we hope the virtual tours will create more accessibility for neurodivergent people – particularly those with autism.
