Fun Palaces at North City Library

Earlier this month we celebrated Fun Palaces at North City Library with a fantastic selection of free activities for families to take part in ranging from crafts to science to yoga!

First up, there were two crafts to choose from, one was fun 3D artwork using cardboard, foil and coloured pens. Some children even made frames around theirs!

Next up, we had Afrocats running a collage craft linking to their current exhibition ‘Building Stronger Communities Together’ (see here for more information about the exhibition).

We also had a Lego table where the challenge was to create a ghost and on another table children could plant a daffodil bulb to take home ready to see it grow and bloom in the spring!

We had a mini yoga workshop take place, a chance to have a go at podcasting and regular Beyblades club was on to join in with too.

And last but by no means least, we had the fabulously exciting Love Science running fizzy, magical experiments alongside slime workshops.
