Summer Reading Challenge: Story Garden Roadshow with Read Manchester

The theme of this year’s Summer Reading Challenge is Story Garden, exploring the link between reading and stories and nature and the great outdoors.

To celebrate, the Read Manchester team are visiting parks across the city with a free Summer Reading Challenge ‘roadshow’ featuring storytelling, nature themed activities and free book giveaways for children.

We’ll be visiting parks during various wider events including Love Parks Week Launch, Wythenshawe Games and National Play Day, so there’s sure to be something for everyone.

All events are free with no booking required – just drop in!

Events include:

Alexandra Park: Friday 25th July at 11am-2pm

We’ll be attending as part of the Love Parks Week Launch Event.

Wythenshawe Park: Saturday 2nd August and Sunday 3rd August: 11am-4pm
