Carbon Literacy Action Week

December 4 to December 8 is Carbon Literacy Action Week. It’s a fantastic opportunity for community members of all ages to learn, engage, and take action towards a more sustainable future. Libraries are holding informative and fun events all week.

Libraries are embracing Carbon Literacy Action Week with a variety of activities aimed at raising awareness about climate change and promoting carbon literacy. Libraries will feature a special storytime focused on recycling themes. Plus you’ll find displays featuring adult and children’s books on carbon literacy. Have fun with carbon literacy colouring and special information sheets. There are interactive climate workshops and eco-friendly activities.

Throughout the week, the City Library entrance will feature an interactive carbon footprint game, book displays, and various supporting materials. In the Business and Intellectual Property Centre, you can explore the world of sustainable business with our latest display and promotion of green resources. Discover how eco-friendly practices can revolutionise your business.
