You may recall we recently launched our new 3D walkthrough virtual tours of all 22 Manchester Libraries, enabling you to explore our fabulous venues, discover the architecture and features, and find out much more about them before you physically visit, all from the comfort of your screen. This was thanks to a recent £20,250 grant from the Arts Council England funded LibraryOn programme, to enhance the online discoverability of libraries.

You can now also watch brief introductory films of all the virtual tours via our Manchester Libraries YouTube channel. Each film lasts between one and two minutes and provides a unique and alternative way to access the tours.

As well as increasing the number of online and physical visits to Manchester Libraries, we hope the virtual tours will create more accessibility for neurodivergent people – particularly those with autism.
